Jean-Baptiste de la Taille (Chairman)
Initiated intomusic from an early age, Jean-Baptiste de La Taille followed a variety ofstudies including piano, singing, history and arts management. Uponcompletion of his studies at the University of Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV), heheld various positions in the recording and music production industry(Universal Music Classics France, Alpha Productions) and was ahead ofprogramming for France Musique and Radio Notre Dame.Thanks tohis passion forsinging he was member of several choirs including Les Petits Chanteurs deParis. With them he performed in France, Europe and South-Eastern Asia untilthe end of 1980, principally under the music director Patrick Marco but alsoconducted by Eliahu Inbal and Sir Colin Davis. As a specialist in vocalrepertoire he has worked principally but not exclusively as a music critic for ResMusica since 2009.
François Dru
François Dru was born in 1972 in Compiègne. Before becoming a trumpeter at the Musique de la région aérienne Nord-Est, he studied at the Paris regional Conservatory and later at Université Paris-IV Sorbonne. He worked in the recording industry (FNAC – Alpha productions), for the film industry as music Supervisor, as executive Producer at Radio-France and as Editor for Diapason and Classica magazines. François Dru has been artistic Consultant for several major orchestras including Les Siècles, Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire, Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Bilkent Orchestra Ankara and served as artistic Administrator for the Orchestre national de Lyon and the Orchestre de Paris which he has worked closely with conductors François-Xavier Roth, Pascal Rophé, Leonard Slatkin and Paavo Järvi. In 2014-15, François Dru was artistic Director of the Long Thibaud Crespin Competition (violin and piano sessions).
He is currently Consultant for Music&Arts Networks and Editorial Manager for XXI Music Publishing Belgium and for the Ravel Edition. About Ravel, he is member of the board of the Fondation Maurice Ravel. With Music&Arts Networks he manages the production of live and studio recording for the Orchestre national d’Auvergne, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo and Ensemble Variances. He is the author of « La Symphonie du cerveau » documentary featuring Alain Altinoglu for France Télévisions.
Maxime Kaprielian
Clarinetist and singer Maxime Kaprielianstudied choral conducting at the Conservatoire de Marseille and was awarded hisbachelor’s degree in Musicology at Aix-Marseille Universités. Titled of CAPESand aggregation of music, he continues in parallel with his job to teach thechoral conducting. He is one of the founders of the web site ResMusica.comwhere he was for 9 years director of publishing and a member of the Syndicateof Professionals in music/dance/theatre. He was in charge of the activities formusic, dance and history of arts by the side of the editor of NationalEducation and on leaving the ministry in 2014, he joined the ensembleMusicatreize as artistic assistant and marketing manager. Maxime Kaprielian isa consultant and lecturer at the Académie-Festival des Arcs since 2007 andauthor of numerous articles in many revues and publications, includingco-authoring with Pierre-Jean Tribot, 2010 Guide des DVDs de musique classique(Edition Symétries, Lyon).
